As we welcome in 2014, we have a lot to look forward to this year. The shop has been infused with new people, new facilities, and above all new projects (more on the first two later). While most of the midwest has been huddling around their fireplace and scraping the snow off their daily drivers, here's a quick rundown of what we've been up to at the shop over the winter.

1969 Z28 Camaro

A 69 Z28 came with a 302 V8, a 4-speed, dual exhaust, Posi-trac, upgraded suspension and brakes, and a license to kill (maybe not that last one). We're doing this one justice by returning it to a numbers matching 100 point restoration. By the time we're done it'll be better than when it came out the factory.

1941 Willys

Anybody who knows Ed Sr. knows we have a deep love of Willys. A trip down memory lane to the 2003 cover of Norther Rodder magazine will confirm this (google away). This 1941 is going the pro touring route complete with an Art Morrison chassis and a blown small block capable of 600 hp. Stay tuned for more info on this street-ready beast.

1949 Chevy Truck

Another Pro Touring project, this 49 truck will handle like never before with an Art Morrison chassis and a complete restoration. Just in case you want to blow some doors off on the way back from home depot.

Don't forget to check out our ongoing projects including the 1960 Sprite, the 1970 El Camino, the 1970 Challenger, the 1935 Chevy, and all the other cars in our Facebook Photo Albums. You can also follow us on Twitter or friend us on Facebook for all the up to date information. We've got some big announcements coming including new feature cars, new supplier partnerships, and a few surprises.

From all of us at Eddie's Rod and Custom, we wish you all a happy, healthy, and horsepower-filled new year.
